Krümel – Cookies & Crumbs Working with a compact space always brings its own challenges, and designing Krümel was no exception. The main task was to create a layout that met the client’s needs while making the most of the limited area. The design concept focuses on the countertop as the central element, drawing attention from customers coming for take-away, as the space only allows for minimal indoor and outdoor seating near the window. The countertop itself is crafted from a solid 50 mm walnut, providing warmth and a tactile quality that complements the playful yet functional interior. This project showcases how careful design can turn a small space into an efficient, inviting environment without compromising on style or identity.
